Programme Synopsis

​

Discover City Square Mall through a playful new lens with the Eco Mama Photo Tour!

​

Led by toy photographer Takahan, participants will explore the mall together with Eco Mama while learning fun and accessible techniques for toy photography using a mobile phone.

​

Throughout the guided photo tour, Takahan will share practical tips on composition, perspective, lighting, storytelling and how to make a toy character come alive within everyday surroundings. Participants will then put these ideas into practice by photographing Eco Mama at selected locations around City Square Mall.

​

Designed to encourage creativity, observation and visual storytelling, the session is suitable for both photography beginners and participants who simply enjoy taking creative photos.

​

By the end of the tour, participants will have created their own series of Eco Mama photographs and will be invited to share at least one of their favourite works on social media.

Brief Programme Rundown

10:00am – 11:30am | Toy Photography Talk

• Introduction to toy photography

• Composition, angles, lighting and storytelling

• Simple mobile photography tips
   

11:30am – 12:30pm | Hands-On Photo Tour

• Photograph Eco Mama around City Square Mall

• Guided practice with tips from Takahan

• Explore different angles and creative ideas
   

12:30pm – 1.00pm | Photo Review

• Review selected participant photos

• Feedback and improvement tips

• Social media posting reminder and wrap-up

Participation Guidelines

​

• Participants are required to bring a camera-enabled mobile phone for the Photo Tour.

• The programme is open to participants aged 15 and above.

• Works created during the programme may be featured by the venue and/or organiser for promotional and publicity purposes.

• By participating, you agree that all photos and videos taken during the workshop may be used by the mall for publicity.

• All participants are requested to follow City Square Mall's social media account(s), post at least one photographic work taken during the Photo Tour, and tag City Square Mall in their post.
